A Simple, Nutritious Snack My Whole Family Loves

If you're a busy parent looking for a quick, nutritious snack or breakfast that your kids will actually enjoy, let me share one of our current household favorites: Orgain protein powder mixed with milk. It’s simple, satisfying, and something my kids genuinely look forward to.

Lately, my children have been loving the vanilla and chocolate flavors of Orgain’s plant-based protein powder. Most mornings—and even some afternoons—they mix 2 scoops with 8 ounces of milk, shake it up, and that’s it. It’s become a staple in our routine.

Why I Love It

One of the biggest reasons I reach for Orgain is that it's plant-based and packed with protein, prebiotics, fiber, vitamins, and minerals—things that traditional whey protein doesn’t always offer in the same way. While there’s nothing wrong with whey, I appreciate that Orgain offers a little extra, especially in the fiber department, which can be hard to get into picky eaters' diets.

This has also been a game-changer at breakfast. If we’re doing something simple like toast or muffins, it’s a perfect way to round out the meal with some protein—without having to break out a pan for eggs or bacon.

Sometimes it’s our “Hail Mary” snack—when we need something fast and nourishing between school, sports, or just life. And honestly? It’s a win-win every time.
